The enertion drive hub is compatible with the 83mm (minimum) ABEC FLYWHEELS. For fitment to the ABEC FLYWHEELS The enertion drive hub design requires 3x M6 bolts (supplied) which fit perfectly inside the abec flywheels hub.
To fit the enertion drive hub to other skateboard wheels you must use a drill press & drill 6mm holes to pass the M6 bolts through. We are currently developing a template that you can use to sit the wheel & bearing assembly onto for accurate drilling, the template will allow you to drill the holes in the perfect centered location on any wheel. The only limiting factor to the hub design being completely universal with all other wheel designs is related to where the point of contact occurs between the inner section of the wheel & the surface of the drive hub which contacts the face/edge of the wheel. This will be determined by each specific wheel design & core position.
The limiting factors to consider are:
1. 83mm minimum diameter wheel
2. Core position (off-set, centre-set, side-set)
3. Core size
> if the wheel core is side-set with a distance greater than 7mm from the inside lip (truck side) of the wheel to the required contact point between the inner wheel & the drive hub the use of an additional 3mm thick enertion hub washer (or other suitable washer/spacers) may be required to ensure that the pulley teeth are sitting proud of the inside lip of the wheel allowing the access for the belt to be seated fully onto the pulley.
> if the wheel is centre-set or off-set it is much easier as you will not require a spacer.
> if the wheel has an oversize core the assembly may also require a spacer as the pulley might not have a solid surface to sit flush against.
> If the wheel has a radical design this may not allow for a decent fitment of the enertion drive hub.
Adapting the enertion drive hub to other wheels requires some intermediate assembly skills, a drill press & possibly additional hub washers for spacers such as an M6 Washer or Nut.
